Forest Department Launches New E-Booking Portal for Bandipur Safari Tickets
Karnataka's forest department has introduced an online portal allowing tourists to book Bandipur safari tickets directly, reducing reliance on middlemen.
The Karnataka forest department has rolled out a new transparent e‑booking portal for safari tickets in Bandipur wildlife sanctuary, enabling tourists to secure reservations online.
The portal simplifies the booking process by letting visitors select dates, make online payments and receive e‑tickets, eliminating the need for physical visits or third‑party agents.
Officials said the system is designed to curb exploitation by middlemen who previously charged extra fees, ensuring fair pricing and better management of visitor numbers.
Travelers are urged to use the portal, accessible via the department’s official website, for a hassle‑free experience and to obtain assistance through the provided contact channels.
The initiative forms part of broader efforts to promote sustainable tourism and improve transparency in forest department services.
