Security forces have installed flower‑proof barricades around the Delhi Election Commission office, causing traffic delays in the vicinity.
Security personnel have surrounded the Delhi Election Commission office with flower‑proof barricades, a measure aimed at enhancing protection around the premises. The barricades are designed to prevent any intrusion or sabotage, reflecting heightened vigilance ahead of upcoming electoral activities.
The deployment of these barriers has led to a noticeable slowdown in vehicular movement on adjacent roads. Commuters have reported longer waiting times and detours as traffic is being rerouted to accommodate the security setup.
Authorities have not provided a specific timeline for the removal of the barricades, indicating that the arrangements will remain in place until the security assessment deems it safe to relax the restrictions.
