Rising waters of the Gandak and Bagmati rivers have submerged more than 24 schools in Muzaffarpur district, halting education and forcing students to rely on boats for access.
Rising water levels of the Gandak and Bagmati rivers have turned parts of Muzaffarpur district into a watery graveyard for schools. In Sahebganj and Paru blocks, several schools were flooded by the Gandak, while Katara block saw eight schools submerged by the Bagmati.
