Security forces in Poonch, Jammu & Kashmir, uncovered and neutralised five landmines along the Line of Control, averting potential casualties.
Recently, Indian Army units operating along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch district of Jammu & Kashmir discovered five unexploded landmines.
The mines were found near the LoC in a remote area accessed by patrols. Using standard demining protocols, the team safely defused each device.
The operation prevented potential injuries to civilians and military personnel and reinforced the ongoing efforts to clear the LoC of unexploded ordnance.
A spokesperson for the Army said the incident underscores the importance of vigilance and continued demining operations along the LoC.
