Police officials in Nashik’s Gonde industrial zone (MIDC) launched a raid early on Tuesday after receiving intelligence about a recent shooting incident in the area. The operation resulted in the detention of five individuals alleged to be involved in the case.
During the raid, investigators recovered a pistol that was manufactured domestically, which is believed to have been used in the shooting. The weapon was seized as evidence and forwarded to the forensic lab for ballistics analysis.
Authorities said the detained persons are being interrogated to ascertain the motive behind the attack and to identify any additional accomplices. The case is now under the jurisdiction of the Nashik police crime branch, and further legal action will follow based on the investigation’s findings.
