A large blaze broke out at a car showroom in South Delhi, leaving seven people injured and twelve rescued by emergency teams.

A massive fire erupted at a car showroom located in the South Delhi neighbourhood on Tuesday evening. Firefighters arrived promptly and battled the flames for several hours before bringing the blaze under control. The incident prompted a swift evacuation of the premises, and emergency medical teams attended to those affected.

Seven individuals sustained injuries ranging from minor burns to smoke inhalation and were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Twelve other occupants were rescued unharmed and escorted to safety by the rescue teams.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire may have started in the showroom's display area, but the exact cause remains under inquiry. Police and fire officials are coordinating to gather evidence and will release further details as they become available.

The incident has raised concerns about fire safety protocols in commercial spaces, especially in high‑traffic retail outlets. Authorities have urged similar establishments to review their emergency preparedness measures.

No fatalities have been reported so far, and the showroom is expected to remain closed pending a thorough safety audit.
