Filming of Bollywood drama 'Due Date' kicks off in Hyderabad

The production crew of the yet‑to‑be‑released movie "Due Date" has begun its regular shoot in Hyderabad, signalling the transition from pre‑production to full‑scale filming. The team set up on location early this week, with cameras and equipment rolling on the city’s outskirts and selected studio spaces.
Hyderabad, which has become a favored destination for film projects due to its modern infrastructure and supportive local authorities, is expected to provide the backdrop for several key sequences of the film. The city’s film city and other facilities are being utilized to accommodate the schedule.
While the makers have not disclosed a release window, industry observers note that the commencement of principal photography typically precedes a several‑month post‑production phase. The start of shooting underscores the project's momentum and the anticipation surrounding its eventual debut.
