Female Students March in Delhi Demanding Better Women’s Safety

Delhi – A contingent of female students organized a public march in the capital, calling for enhanced safety provisions for women. The demonstrators walked through prominent city routes, holding placards that highlighted concerns over personal security and the need for stricter enforcement of existing laws. They appealed to municipal authorities and law‑enforcement agencies to improve street lighting, increase police patrols, and ensure rapid response to incidents involving women. The march underscored growing anxiety among young women about safety in public spaces and sought immediate action from the government. While the protest remained peaceful, participants urged officials to translate their demands into concrete policies without delay.
