Ex‑militants block road in Tripura demanding rehabilitation package

A group of former militants set up a road blockade in Tripura on Thursday, demanding that the state government provide a comprehensive rehabilitation package for ex‑combatants. The protesters positioned themselves on the main highway connecting key towns and halted vehicular movement for several hours, drawing attention to their economic and social grievances.
