Four individuals, including a former Bajrang Dal activist, were detained by Chhattisgarh police on charges of cattle trafficking.
Police in Chhattisgarh arrested four suspects on Thursday, alleging they were involved in a cattle trafficking network. One of the detainees is a former member of the Bajrang Dal, a Hindu nationalist group. Authorities say the group moved livestock across state borders for sale in markets. The arrests were part of a broader operation to curb illegal cattle trade in the region. Investigators are probing the extent of the network and its links to local communities.
