DP World has announced a renewed partnership with the India Golf Championship and the DP World Tour, extending the collaboration through 2035.
DP World, the global logistics and port operator, has confirmed an extension of its partnership with the India Golf Championship and the DP World Tour until 2035. The agreement, announced in Hyderabad, will see DP World continue as the title sponsor of the India Championship, a key event on the DP World Tour calendar.
Under the new terms, DP World will support the tournament’s growth through increased prize money, enhanced marketing initiatives, and the development of grassroots golf programs across India. The partnership also aims to elevate the profile of Indian golfers on the international stage.
Industry analysts note that the extended collaboration reflects DP World’s commitment to promoting sports and tourism in India, while providing the DP World Tour with a stable platform to expand its presence in the sub‑continent.
The India Championship, first held in 2019, has already attracted top international players and has become a cornerstone of the DP World Tour’s efforts to globalise the sport.
