Dombivli‑Diva MLA Meets Railway Officials to Push for Direct Local Train to Mumbai

The meeting took place at the Central Railway headquarters in Mumbai, where the MLA highlighted the growing congestion and delays faced by commuters traveling between Dombivli‑Diva and the city. "The current lack of a direct local service forces passengers to rely on longer routes, increasing travel time and discomfort," the MLA said. Railway officials acknowledged the issue and indicated that they are reviewing the feasibility of introducing a direct local train. They assured that a detailed study would be conducted and that any decision would be communicated to the public in due course. The MLA expressed hope that the new service would ease daily commutes and improve overall connectivity for the region.
