Diwali Fair Organized at Maple Bear School, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana

Ludhiana's Maple Bear School, located in the Udham Singh Nagar neighbourhood, held a Diwali fair on the school premises. The event featured a range of activities, including traditional rangoli displays, cultural performances by students, and stalls selling festive sweets and handicrafts. Organisers aimed to create a community gathering that celebrated the festival of lights while promoting cultural awareness among the school’s diverse student body.

Parents and local residents were invited to participate, and the fair saw a steady turnout throughout the day. Safety measures, such as crowd control and fire safety protocols, were implemented in line with school guidelines.

School officials said the fair is part of their annual calendar of events designed to foster community spirit and provide students with experiential learning opportunities beyond the classroom.

The celebration concluded with a ceremonial lighting of diyas, symbolising the triumph of light over darkness, a core theme of Diwali.

Maple Bear School plans to continue such community-oriented events in future festivals, reinforcing its commitment to holistic education.
