DHS Kashmir reviews and prioritises equipment requisitions for FY 2026-27
Srinagar, October 3: The Medical & Technical Committee of the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, met on October 1 and 3 at Swasthya Bhawan, Bemina, under the chairpersonship of Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr. Nighat Yasmeen, to scrutinise and prioritise equipment requisitions from districts and health institutions for 2026-27. The meetings were attended by all senior officers and officials of the Directorate and the districts.
The Chairperson stressed that procurement must be need-based and guided by service requirements, patient workload, trained manpower, supporting infrastructure and optimal use of public funds.
