A dengue outbreak in Madhogadh village, Muraina, has sickened between 150 and 200 residents, with two women dying. Health officials tested 70 samples, confirming four dengue cases.

Health authorities in Madhya Pradesh have reported a surge of dengue and viral fever cases in Madhogadh village of Muraina over the past 15 days. Local residents estimate that 150 to 200 people are currently ill, and the outbreak has already claimed the lives of two women.

The state health department collected samples from 70 patients in the village. Laboratory testing confirmed dengue in four of those samples, confirming the presence of the virus in the area.

Officials are urging residents to take preventive measures against mosquito breeding and to seek immediate medical attention if symptoms appear.
