The portal allows owners to enter their vehicle registration number and instantly view the location of the impounded vehicle, the towing agency involved, and the amount due. Users can also clear pending fines through integrated digital payment options, eliminating the need for physical visits to police stations.

The initiative, detailed in a recent press release, is part of the police department's broader effort to digitise services and reduce administrative bottlenecks. Officials expect the platform to cut down on long queues at traffic police offices and curb the misuse of unofficial intermediaries who previously facilitated such transactions.
