Delhi traffic police have warned that a protest on Monday, Oct 12, will affect traffic on about 30 key routes across the city.
The Delhi Traffic Police issued an advisory on Sunday, informing commuters that a protest scheduled for Monday, 12 October, will lead to congestion on roughly thirty major thoroughfares. The notice listed the affected arteries, including Ring Road, Ashram Marg, and the Delhi‑Gurgaon Expressway, among others.
Motorists are urged to plan alternate routes, use public transport where possible, and allow extra travel time. Police officials said traffic controllers will be deployed at critical junctions to manage flow and prevent gridlock.
The department will monitor the situation continuously and issue further updates through its official channels. Commuters are advised to stay tuned to local news and the traffic police’s social‑media handles for real‑time information.
