The Delhi police have issued a traffic advisory listing 21 roads to avoid as the Chief Justice of India’s Tiranga March proceeds through the capital today.

The Delhi Police released a traffic advisory for today, identifying 21 arterial roads that commuters should avoid as the Chief Justice of India (CJI) leads a Tiranga (national flag) march across the city. The advisory, circulated early this morning, aims to minimise congestion and ensure the smooth movement of the march participants and the general public.
Police have deployed additional traffic personnel at key junctions and are directing vehicles onto alternative routes. Motorists are urged to plan their journeys in advance, use navigation apps for real‑time updates, and adhere to the instructions of traffic officers on the ground.
The Tiranga march, scheduled to start from the Supreme Court and proceed through several central Delhi locations, is expected to draw large crowds. Authorities have warned that delays may be significant on the listed roads, especially during peak hours, and have recommended the use of public transport where feasible.
Commuters are also advised to stay alert for temporary roadblocks, diversions, and increased police presence in the affected zones. The advisory will be reviewed periodically and updated as the march progresses.
