Delhi will inaugurate 43 water and sewerage projects on 22 October, a ₹8,941.22 crore initiative aimed at cleaning the Yamuna and strengthening the city's sewage system.

Delhi’s Water Board has earmarked ₹8,941.22 crore for 43 projects designed to overhaul the city’s water and sewage infrastructure. The projects will be formally launched on 22 October in a ceremony presided over by Home Minister Amit Shah. The initiative is part of a broader effort to clean the Yamuna River and improve Delhi’s sewerage management system. The launch will mark the beginning of a phased implementation aimed at reducing pollution and enhancing water quality across the capital.
