Delhi Protest Persists Despite Train, Metro and Internet Shutdown

Earlier today, a sizable crowd of protesters assembled in Delhi despite a complete shutdown of train and metro services and a temporary suspension of internet connectivity. The authorities had ordered the transport halt and network blackout as a precautionary measure, aiming to curb potential disruptions. Nevertheless, the demonstrators arrived on foot and by private vehicles, filling key streets near government offices. Police units were deployed along the protest route, maintaining a visible presence but reporting no major incidents or clashes. The gathering underscores the determination of participants to voice their concerns even when basic mobility and communication channels are restricted.
