Delhi Police Tighten Security Ahead of INDIA Bloc Rally in Capital

The Delhi Police announced a heightened security deployment ahead of the scheduled rally of the INDIA bloc, a coalition of opposition parties, set to take place later this week. Additional police personnel have been posted at key locations across the city, including major intersections, public parks and the rally venue, to manage crowds and deter any untoward incidents.

Traffic management plans have been revised, with several roads earmarked for temporary closures or diversions to facilitate smooth movement of security forces and emergency services. The police have also installed extra CCTV cameras and increased patrols in the vicinity of the rally site.

Authorities have urged citizens to cooperate with the security arrangements and avoid unnecessary travel through the affected zones. The move reflects the administration's emphasis on maintaining public order while allowing democratic gatherings to proceed safely.
