The Crime Branch of Delhi's Seemapuri police arrested two suspects, 24‑year‑old Armaan and Armaan alias Aman, and seized an iPhone 15 Pro Max along with two other phones.
Delhi's Seemapuri police Crime Branch crack team carried out a successful operation on Tuesday, apprehending two active mobile snatchers. The suspects were taken into custody at a location in the Seemapuri area after a coordinated raid.
Investigators identified the accused as 24‑year‑old Armaan and his associate, also known as Armaan alias Aman. Both are believed to be part of a small gang that has been targeting pedestrians for high‑value smartphones.
During the arrest, officers recovered an iPhone 15 Pro Max and two additional mobile devices, which are now in police custody as evidence. The recovered phones are being forwarded to the forensic lab for further examination.
Police spokesperson said the operation underscores the department's focus on curbing mobile thefts in the capital and urged the public to report suspicious activities promptly.
