On Tuesday, Delhi Police conducted a surprise raid in Model Town, a residential area in West Delhi, and uncovered an illegal gambling den that had been operating for months.
The operation involved officers from the Anti-Gambling Squad and the Crime Branch, who entered the premises during the early evening hours.
Inside, they found a network of betting tables, electronic devices used for placing wagers, and a sizable cash stash.
Ten individuals, including the alleged ringleader, were arrested and are now in police custody on charges of running an illegal gambling establishment.
Police officials said the raid was part of a broader crackdown on underground betting activities across the city and that further investigations are underway.
