Delhi police have announced that the planned CJP protest will not be allowed at Jantar Mantar, citing security concerns.
Delhi Police have issued a directive that any demonstration by the CJP group at Jantar Mantar will not be permitted. The decision was communicated through official channels and was highlighted in a YouTube video.
Authorities said the move is intended to preserve public order and avoid potential disruption at the capital’s central protest venue. Organisers have been asked to consider alternative locations for their rally.
Police warned that attempting to hold the protest at Jantar Mantar could attract legal action under existing public assembly laws. No further details were provided, and the protest leaders have not yet responded publicly.
