Delhi Metro will close entry and exit points at 57 stations from October 9 to prevent crowd movement ahead of the Chief Justice of India’s protest at Jantar Mantar.

Delhi Metro has announced that it will close entry and exit points at 57 stations from October 9, in an effort to curb unruly mob movement ahead of the Chief Justice of India’s protest at Jantar Mantar.
The closure will affect commuters traveling to and from key hubs such as Central Secretariat, Connaught Place and other major stations in the capital.
Metro officials said that alternative routes and increased security measures will be arranged, and commuters are advised to use other modes of transport during this period.
The protest, scheduled for today, is part of a broader campaign by the Chief Justice of India to address concerns over judicial reforms, and the metro shutdown is a preventive measure to maintain public order.
