Delhi authorities have mobilised about 23,000 police personnel and erected barricades as the city readies for the Chief Justice of India's protest scheduled for Saturday.

Delhi's law‑enforcement agencies have moved roughly 23,000 personnel onto the streets in anticipation of the Chief Justice of India's planned protest on Saturday. The deployment includes both uniformed police and auxiliary forces tasked with crowd control and maintaining public order.

City officials have installed temporary barricades along key arteries expected to be used by demonstrators, aiming to channel movement and prevent disruption to traffic and critical services. Security teams are also monitoring entry points to government buildings and major transit hubs.

The protest, organised by the Chief Justice, is expected to be peaceful, but authorities have prepared contingency plans to respond swiftly should the situation escalate. Police commanders have briefed their units on coordination protocols and have urged the public to follow official instructions during the event.
