Railway services at Delhi’s Chawni station will not stop for several trains, including Chetak Express, until October 15 as RBD Authority work continues.
The Rail Land Development Authority’s (RLDA) ongoing work at Delhi’s Chawni railway station has led to a temporary suspension of train halts at the station. The restriction will remain in force until October 15, affecting passenger movement through the hub.
Several scheduled services, notably the Chetak Express, will pass through Chawni without stopping. Railway officials have not listed additional trains, but the notice applies to all services that would normally call at the station during the period.
Commuters planning to board or alight at Chawni are advised to check alternate stations such as Delhi Junction or New Delhi, and to verify updated timetables before travel. The suspension may cause inconvenience for daily travelers and those with connecting journeys.
The railway authority has urged passengers to stay informed through official channels and to allow extra travel time if they must use nearby stations while the RLDA work continues.
