Delhi authorities demolish illegal structures outside Pakistan High Commission

Delhi municipal officials carried out demolition of several unauthorised structures that had been set up outside the Pakistan High Commission on Tuesday. The operation was overseen by the Delhi Municipal Corporation and local police to ensure compliance with city building regulations.

The structures, which included temporary stalls and makeshift sheds, were located in the diplomatic enclave surrounding the High Commission. Authorities said they were erected without any permits and posed safety and security concerns in a sensitive area.

Officials emphasized that the demolition was a routine enforcement action aimed at preventing illegal construction and maintaining order in the capital's diplomatic zones. No injuries were reported during the operation.
