Delhi's air quality improved to an AQI of 93 following recent rainfall, with a BJP minister attributing the drop to targeted measures.
Delhi's air quality index (AQI) fell to 93 after a recent bout of heavy rainfall, indicating a significant improvement in the city's air pollution levels.
The rainfall helped wash away particulate matter and other pollutants that had accumulated over the past weeks.
A BJP minister publicly credited the improvement to "targeted action" taken by the government.
Authorities have been enforcing measures such as restricting vehicular traffic, tightening industrial emissions, and promoting cleaner fuels to curb pollution.
