An attack in Taiz province, Yemen, left seven people dead, including children, and wounded around forty, with the Houthis and the Yemeni government offering conflicting accounts.

Both the Houthi movement, which controls large parts of northern Yemen, and the internationally recognised Yemeni government have issued statements blaming each other for the attack. The Houthis claim the strike was carried out by forces loyal to the government, whereas the government accuses the Houthis of targeting civilian areas.
