Police in Danapur, Bihar, raided two hotels on Saguana Mod and Gola Road, freeing a Kenyan woman and three other victims of a human‑body trafficking ring and arresting the two hotel managers.
The Danapur police launched simultaneous raids on two hotels located at Saguana Mod and Gola Road, uncovering a covert human‑body trafficking operation. Officers entered the premises early on Wednesday, conducting thorough searches and securing evidence of illicit activities.
During the operation, a Kenyan national and three other women were rescued from the hotels. The victims, who had been held against their will, were immediately handed over to local authorities for medical examination and protection.
Investigators also detained the managers of both establishments, charging them with facilitating the trafficking network. Mobile phones, a register and other material evidence were seized from the sites to aid further inquiry.
The police have launched a broader probe to identify additional participants and to dismantle the entire trafficking chain operating in the region.
