Thousands of citizens converged in Delhi on Saturday, forming a sizable crowd ahead of a scheduled India alliance rally. The gathering took place at a central location in the capital, with participants holding placards and chanting slogans.
The rally is being organised as a direct response to SIR, with the alliance framing the event as a protest against the policies and actions associated with the entity. Speakers addressed the audience, urging a unified stand and calling for accountability.
Authorities have deployed police personnel to manage the crowd and ensure public order, while monitoring the proceedings for any disruptions. The event underscores the growing political mobilisation ahead of upcoming electoral contests.
