Critic Umair Sandhu Dismisses 'Toxic' as 'Dull and Cheap Copy of Animal', Gives 2 Stars

Film critic Umair Sandhu, who routinely posts reviews before a movie’s theatrical release, has given the Yash‑starrer 'Toxic' a scathing verdict, describing it as a "dull and cheap copy of 'Animal'" and awarding only two stars.

Sandhu’s review was published after he attended a Censor Board screening of the film’s trailer. In that earlier viewing, he had praised the trailer as a potential blockbuster, a stark contrast to his later assessment of the full movie.

The critic’s harsh rating highlights a significant shift in perception from the trailer to the final product, suggesting that the film failed to deliver on the expectations set by its promotional material.

The review has sparked discussion among fans and industry observers, who are now reassessing the film’s prospects ahead of its wide release.
