Congress says ‘Forget and Forgive’ policy over, lists of BJP-supporting officials being prepared in Delhi and Rajasthan

The Punjab Congress Committee chief announced that the party will scrap its ‘forget and forgive’ stance and compile detailed lists of officials who aided BJP’s alleged misconduct in Delhi and Rajasthan.
The head of the Punjab Congress Committee declared that the Congress will no longer adhere to its previous “forget and forgive” approach toward BJP allies. He said a systematic audit is under way to identify every officer and employee who, in his view, supported the ruling party’s alleged wrongdoing.
According to the statement, separate lists are being compiled for Delhi, where the party plans to name officials linked to Rahul Gandhi’s activities, and for Rajasthan, where a similar inventory is being prepared.
The PCC chief also asserted that the BJP’s hold over the upcoming Panchayat elections will be exposed, describing the party’s influence as a “soupda” that will be cleaned out.
Political analysts note that the move signals a hardening of Congress’s stance ahead of local elections, aiming to mobilise its base by highlighting alleged BJP misconduct.
