Congress Protest in Vidisha Over Detention of Opposition Leaders; Police Use Water Cannon

In Vidisha, Congress workers organized a protest to oppose the detention of opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, in Delhi. The demonstration unfolded on the streets, with participants gathering at Madhavganj Chowk. They attempted to set fire to a flag or a representation of the Prime Minister. As the crowd grew, police moved in and used water cannons to disperse the protestors, preventing the flag from being burned. The incident reflects ongoing tensions between opposition parties and the government over the arrests of opposition leaders.
