The Indian National Congress has launched an extensive campaign ahead of Rahul Gandhi's rally in Punjab today, deploying volunteers, banners and local leaders across the state.
New Delhi – The Indian National Congress has rolled out a large‑scale mobilisation in Punjab ahead of Rahul Gandhi's rally scheduled for today. Party workers have been dispatched to major towns and villages, setting up stages, sound systems and informational kiosks to attract crowds.
Across the state, Congress volunteers are distributing pamphlets, hanging banners bearing the party's emblem and the leader's portrait, and coordinating with local panchayat members to ensure smooth logistics. Senior party figures are scheduled to address gatherings before the prime‑time speech by Gandhi.
The rally comes at a crucial juncture as the party gears up for the upcoming general elections, seeking to reclaim lost ground in the northern region. Analysts note that a well‑attended event in Punjab could boost the party's visibility and rally support among key voter blocs.
