The Indian National Congress has begun its 'Yatra of Hope' in Goa, aiming to reconnect with voters ahead of upcoming elections.
The Indian National Congress has kicked off a "Yatra of Hope" across the state of Goa. The rally marks the party's effort to reach out directly to citizens and present its agenda ahead of the next electoral cycle.
Organisers say the yatra will travel through multiple districts, featuring public meetings where senior party figures will address local concerns and outline policy priorities. The campaign is being framed as a hopeful outreach to regain public trust.
Political analysts note that the initiative comes at a time when the Congress is seeking to rebuild its foothold in Goa, a state where it has faced stiff competition from regional and national rivals. The yatra is expected to continue for several weeks, covering both urban and rural areas.
The party has urged supporters to join the events and engage in dialogue, positioning the yatra as a platform for inclusive discussion on development, employment and social welfare.
