The Congress and Goa Forward Party have signaled a renewal of their alliance after a pause observed during the Pitru Paksha period. Party sources say the post-festival pact is back under discussion.
The alliance between the Congress and the Goa Forward Party was temporarily halted during the Pitru Paksha observance, a period when many refrain from political engagements.
Following the conclusion of the Pitru Paksha period, representatives from both parties have resumed talks about a possible collaboration.
Sources indicate that the post-festival pact, which had been put on hold, is now being reconsidered as a viable option for future coordination.
No formal agreement has been announced yet, but the renewed dialogue suggests the alliance is back in play.
