Congress factions clash over leadership in Peddapalli, Telangana

The Telangana unit of the Indian National Congress is witnessing a growing rift in the Peddapalli constituency, reports Telangana Today. Sources indicate that competing factions within the party are at odds, leading to heightened tensions on the ground.

Party workers from the two sides have been seen confronting each other at local meetings, and the dispute is reportedly affecting the Congress' organisational activities in the area. While the exact cause of the disagreement has not been disclosed, observers note that internal power struggles often surface ahead of upcoming electoral contests.

The escalation of the feud has drawn attention from senior state leaders, who are said to be monitoring the situation closely. The party has not released an official statement, and the matter remains under discussion among local cadres.

Analysts suggest that such intra‑party conflicts could impact the Congress' prospects in the constituency, especially if they hinder coordinated campaigning ahead of future polls.
