A richly illustrated coffee‑table book on Arunachal Pradesh was launched today, aiming to promote the state’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.
The launch of a new coffee‑table book dedicated to Arunachal Pradesh took place today, drawing attention from tourism officials, cultural scholars and photography enthusiasts. The event marked the culmination of months of work by a team of local writers, photographers and designers who sought to capture the state’s diverse landscapes and traditions.
The volume features high‑resolution photographs of the Himalayas, dense forests, river valleys and tribal festivals, accompanied by concise essays that provide historical and cultural context. Each page is designed to offer readers a visual journey through the region, highlighting lesser‑known destinations alongside iconic landmarks.
Organisers said the book is intended to serve as a promotional tool for tourism and as a documentation of Arunachal Pradesh’s intangible heritage. By presenting the state’s richness in a visually appealing format, they hope to attract domestic and international visitors as well as encourage preservation efforts.
Copies of the book will be made available at major bookstores across the country and through online retailers, with a portion of the proceeds earmarked for community projects in the state.
