The Cockroach movement has announced fresh protests against recent changes to the voter roll. Activists claim the revisions compromise electoral integrity.
The Cockroach movement, a grassroots political group, has called for nationwide protests following amendments to the voter roll. The organization argues that the changes could disenfranchise voters and alter electoral outcomes.
In a statement released earlier today, the movement urged citizens to participate in demonstrations and to demand transparency from election authorities. Protesters plan to gather at key civic centers across the country.
Election officials have not yet responded to the movement’s demands. The protests are expected to begin later this week, with organizers warning that the situation could intensify if reforms remain unaddressed.
Observers note that the movement’s focus on voter roll integrity reflects growing concerns over electoral fairness in India. The protests may influence upcoming electoral reforms.
