After being released from detention, Cockroach Janta Party leaders announced they would persist with their protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The party said it plans to expand the demonstrations nationwide and has called on its Delhi supporters to stay back in the capital, while advising others to resume their travel. Leaders accused the Modi government of creating an emergency-like situation in their treatment and warned that the agitation would continue until all their demands are met. The Cockroach Janta Party reiterated its commitment to protest and said it would keep mobilising workers across states to press for its demands.
