Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary inspected flood relief camps from the air, directing continued community kitchens, ND‑RRF/SDRF deployment, embankment monitoring and a ₹7,000 assistance per family before Dussehra.
During a recent aerial survey over the flood‑affected districts of Bihar, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary examined the condition of relief camps and the progress of rescue operations. The fly‑over allowed him to assess the extent of damage and the effectiveness of ongoing assistance measures.
Following the inspection, the CM instructed that community kitchens remain operational to provide meals to displaced families. He also ordered that the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) stay deployed in the hardest‑hit areas to support rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
The chief minister emphasized the need for continuous monitoring of embankments and riverbanks to prevent further breaches, directing relevant authorities to keep a close watch on the structures.
To alleviate the financial strain on affected households, Chaudhary announced a direct cash assistance of ₹7,000 per family, to be disbursed before the upcoming Dussehra festival, aiming to help families meet immediate needs ahead of the celebrations.
