A third‑grade student reportedly assaulted a six‑year‑old girl and escorted her father to a spot, according to police statements.
Police officials said a child studying in class 3 allegedly attacked a six‑year‑old girl in a residential area. The incident, which took place earlier this week, involved the young boy confronting the girl and then taking her father to a nearby location, according to eyewitnesses.
Investigators have opened a case under the Juvenile Justice Act, noting that both the alleged perpetrator and the victim are minors. The father, who was reportedly unaware of the assault at the time, was led to the spot by the boy before the police intervened.
Authorities are questioning the children and their families to establish the sequence of events and motives. The case highlights concerns about child‑to‑child violence and the need for increased supervision in neighbourhoods.
The police have assured the public that appropriate legal action will be taken, and counseling services are being offered to the victim’s family. The matter remains under investigation, with further details to be released as the inquiry progresses.
