Industry sources indicate that Cinema Capital in Hyderabad is exploring the addition of a second IMAX auditorium.
Cinema Capital, a prominent multiplex in Hyderabad, is reportedly considering the installation of a second IMAX screen. The move comes as the city’s demand for premium large‑format cinema experiences continues to grow.
A second IMAX auditorium would expand the venue’s capacity to showcase blockbuster releases in the immersive format, potentially attracting more moviegoers from across the region. IMAX theatres are known for their larger screens, enhanced sound systems, and high‑resolution projection, features that have become increasingly popular among Indian audiences.
As of now, Cinema Capital has not issued an official statement confirming the project. Details such as the timeline, investment scale, or exact location within the multiplex remain unverified, and the development is being monitored by industry observers.
