Beijing denied that its People's Liberation Army conducted recent patrols along the disputed border, urging New Delhi to ensure peace along the Line of Actual Control.

Chinese officials have rejected recent Indian claims that the People’s Liberation Army carried out patrols on the contested frontier. In a statement reported by the Deccan Herald, Beijing said the allegation was unfounded and emphasized that responsibility for maintaining tranquility lies with India.

The denial comes amid heightened diplomatic exchanges between the two neighbours over activities along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). New Delhi has repeatedly warned that any unilateral moves could destabilise the status quo, while China maintains that its forces are adhering to established protocols.

Analysts note that the exchange underscores the fragile nature of the border relationship, with both capitals urging restraint. The dialogue is expected to continue through existing military and diplomatic channels to prevent escalation and preserve peace in the Himalayan region.
