Chief Minister Chowna Mein presided over the inauguration ceremony of Utkarsh Bhawan in Naharlagun, marking a new addition to the town's public facilities. The event was attended by local officials and community members who gathered to witness the opening of the building.
The Utkarsh Bhawan is slated to function as a hub for educational and cultural activities, providing space for seminars, workshops and student gatherings. Authorities expect the centre to support the region's growing demand for learning resources.
During the same program, the minister also flagged off a newly acquired bus destined for Saraswati Vidya Niketan in Mahadevpur. The vehicle will facilitate daily transport for students, reducing travel time and improving attendance.
State officials highlighted that both the Bhawan and the bus service are part of a broader effort to strengthen educational infrastructure in Arunachal Pradesh, aiming to create more equitable access to learning opportunities.
