Chhattisgarh Police Issue Show-Cause Notice to Rajnandgaon SP Over AK‑47 Firing Video

In a move that has drawn public attention, the Chhattisgarh Police Department issued a show‑cause notice to the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Rajnandgaon. The notice follows the circulation of a video that allegedly shows an AK‑47 rifle being fired during a Dussehra festival in the city. Authorities say the video raises serious concerns about the use of firearms in public celebrations and the safety protocols of the police force. The SP is required to explain the circumstances surrounding the incident and justify the actions taken by the force. The notice is part of an ongoing investigation into the matter, and the police have urged the public to cooperate with any further inquiries.
