Chhattisgarh Issues Tender for Railway Overbridge Lighting Ahead of Budget Finalisation

Chhattisgarh's public works department has floated a tender for the installation of lighting on a railway overbridge. The invitation seeks qualified contractors to supply, install and commission the lighting system in accordance with standard safety norms. The move is part of the state's broader infrastructure push and coincides with the preparation of the next fiscal year's budget. Officials said the project aims to enhance visibility for commuters and improve overall safety on the rail corridor. The tender will be evaluated under the state's e‑procurement platform, with the contract expected to be awarded after the standard technical and financial assessment.
