The chief minister arrived in Singapore to showcase Chhattisgarh’s industrial opportunities and seek foreign investment.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Sai touched down in Singapore on a diplomatic visit aimed at promoting the state’s investment climate. The delegation is scheduled to meet business leaders, trade bodies and potential investors to present the region’s growth story.

During the trip, officials highlighted Chhattisgarh’s strengths in sectors such as steel, power, mining and agro‑processing, emphasizing recent policy reforms that simplify land acquisition and improve ease of doing business. The state government has also set up dedicated investment promotion cells to facilitate foreign capital.

The Singapore itinerary includes presentations at the Singapore Economic Development Board and one‑on‑one discussions with industry representatives. Authorities expect the outreach to generate concrete project proposals and deepen economic ties between the two regions.

This visit follows a series of state‑level initiatives aimed at diversifying Chhattisgarh’s industrial base and reducing reliance on traditional sectors. By targeting global investors, the government hopes to accelerate infrastructure development and create new employment opportunities for its residents.
